XYLITOL FRUIT SCONES

Mix: | ||
| 2 1/2 c flour, whole grain | |||
| 8 T butter, veg spread or coconut oil | |||
| Blend: | |||
| 1/2 c sour cream | |||
| 1 egg | |||
| 1/3 c zylitol | |||
| 1 t Baking powder | |||
| 1/4 t baking soda | |||
| 1/2 t salt | |||
| Mix together both of the above then spoon in and stir: | |||
| ½ c blueberries or chopped apples, optional | |||
| 1 t grated lemon or orange rind, optional | |||
| Roll into a rectangle, cut into triangles, place on baking sheet | |||
| Bake 15-18 minutes at 375 degrees | |||
