Preheat oven 350
Blend together:
3/4 c water
1/2 c soft dates
1 c walnuts
2 t vanilla
1 t lemon juice
Blend till creamy and spoon into mixing bowl.
Use 1/4 c water to rinse blender and add to mixing bowl:
1 1/4 c flour: wheat, sorghum, barley, etc
1/2 t salt
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 c carob chips
3/4 c raisins
1/2 c sunflower seeds or other nut or seed, optional
Mix all well and spoon onto prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 350 degrees approximately 25 minutes
