INDIAN STYLE NO-TOMATO BHAJI

In wok or skillet saute: | ||
| 1 med onion, chopped | |||
| 1-2 cloves garlic, pressed or chopped | |||
| 1-2 T fresh minced ginger | |||
| 1-2 T oil | |||
| Cook till soft then add: | |||
| 2-3 stalks celery, chopped | |||
| 1 carrot , chopped | |||
| 1/2 small cabbage, chopped | |||
| 1 bag, 8 oz frozen green beans | |||
| 1 sweet potato, chopped (white sweet potato works well) -can add cooked sweet potato | |||
| When almost soft add: | |||
| 1/2-1 t salt to taste | |||
| 1 t garam masala | |||
| 3/4 t coriander | |||
| 1/2 t cumin | |||
| 1/4 t turmeric | |||
| black pepper to taste | |||
| Add 1-2 c No_tomato sauce and simmer a few minutes to blend seasoning | |||
| Can top with fresh cilantro | |||
