Preheat oven 350° | ||
| Chop: | |||
| ½ large onion | |||
| Shred: | |||
| 1 large carrot | |||
| Mix above with: | |||
| 1# ground beef, turkey, chicken, bison, etc | |||
| 1 t salt | |||
| 1 T tomato paste, optional can also use no-tomato sauce | |||
| 1 1/2 t mustard powder | |||
| 1 egg | |||
| ½ c rolled oats | |||
| You can also blend 1 fresh red pepper and 1 small onion, then pour over meatloaf before baking | Pack into a 7x11 inch baking dish OR a meatloaf pan | ||
| Spread tomato or no_tomato paste over loaf | |||
| Bake 45 minutes at 350. | |||
