|
In saucepan cook till rice and onion are soft, approx 45 min: | ||
| 1 large onion, whole | |||
| 1/2 c dry brown rice | |||
| 1 c water | |||
| In food processor blend till creamy: | |||
| 1# tofu (drained), soft | |||
| Cooked brown rice (warm) along with onion | |||
| 2 T tahini (sesame seed butter) or olive oil | |||
| 1 t salt or 2 t umeboshi plum paste | |||
| 1 T lemon juice (optional for tartness) | |||
| May need to add water but should be relatively thick | |||
| Adjust salt or umeboshi paste | |||
